Don't F@ck With Me B-Word!

Bravery is the capacity to perform properly even when scared half to death.
~ Omar Bradley

Situations arise in everyone's lives every once and a while and sometimes it's a bit tricky how to handle them .. fairly. If there is truly a "fair" way.

I have a situation. I have choices to make. It's not pretty. This someone would get fired and possibly sued. The someone is my daughter's boyfriend's mom. Nice, eh?

I am a black and white person. It's illegal or not illegal. It's right or wrong. I am a straight shooter, which I am sure you get, if you read my blog, ever.
Therefore, to be true, honest, just, fair, is a yes/no dealio ...
I am who I am and I like me - so neener if ya don't :p

A person with authority, authoritative rights, power .. have a certain responsibility to not be corrupt and walk over that fine line, regardless of their "feelings".

IE: My son once asked me if I would turn him in for marijuana if I became a police officer (kids love to play the "what if" game). I answered truthfully. Yes. Yes, I would. It's illegal. Don't flaunt it in front of an officer of the law, you will get fined. The end.

He had a pretty good idea of my moral / ethical side. Do I agree with the law? No, not always. Do I have to? Nope. If I disagree strongly, I need to stand up for what I believe to true, honest, just, fair :) Or lay back and let shit happen as it will happen. Oh lookie, another black/white, yes/no, do or not way of thinking..

Years ago I was presented with a great opportunity when a "what if" question was asked to me. A "what if" question from a taller than myself, pissed right off at me, teenage boy being raised by a single parent mother.
The question was "What would you do if I hit you right now?"..

He was yelling, and towering over me. I KNEW THIS WAS A CRITICAL opportunity. I want the best for my children and with that RESPONSIBILITY is so flicking huge.

I looked up at him, in a calm voice (from deep within my soul I found that calm woman) and said sternly serious, "I would phone the police."

My son was befuddled and then retorted weirdly quizzical yet still quite angry, "You would do that to your own son?"

I, again, answered, "You would hit your own mom?"

The end. A lesson was taught. Tolerant behavior. What is right, what is wrong. I can not control how life is going to treat my children or what they do to achieve happiness this lifetime. I can control and take VERY seriously my mother role. I want the best for them, consequences and all.

No regrets, all learning opportunities. The phrases we repeat to our children, impact how, who and what they become.
Don't we have numerous sayings that we've spoken over and over to our children? They're almost countless and truly PRICELESS. Our children are oddly defined by who WE are. Who we choose to be. It's a kid thing. You watch your parents and you know how to behave or how not to behave. Keeping up a appearances, walking the walk, talking the talk, is what a decent parent does. It's a NEED for healthy development in any child.
***
SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP.
Move on.
Be nice.
Would you choose to do that if you saw me?
Respect is given, trust is earned.
I, your mother, love you more than anyone in this whole entire world; I deserve honesty, whether I like what I will hear or not.
I will ALWAYS love you.
You ARE a blessing.
Do or do not. There is no try.
'I can't' is not an option.
You are a good person.
You make your destiny.
Don't complain, CHANGE IT!
Find the funny.. in everything.
Smile.
No regrets.
Learn. And if you don't the first time - it will be repeated for you until you do.
You are my everything.
***

By sharing with our young people, far too early (not yet an adult-cub of yours) experiences that are unhealthy, choices which possibly were dangerous, or past consequences - you roll the dice on how your child will process the information.
Again, once a child is an adult, little pieces can and do help your adult cub understand how life isn't fair, the result to choices, consequences for poor actions, etc.. Until adult-cub-hood, however this data is TOO MUCH for a naive mind. It just is. They feel like they're meant to disappoint, instructed to screw up, or worse yet, not capable or even motivated to be "good".. So sad.

Interesting it is then that Ms. C, I shall call her BROKE the law. Caused my child huge suffering and pain and yet I debate filing the complaint thus not getting her fired. I mull in my head what's right.
What's right is someone, especially an adult NOT HURTING AN INNOCENT CHILD!
Stupid B-word, I am so upset. She seriously can not think I won't do something or does she really believe she did nothing wrong, that her actions are justified because she felt she was protecting her child? What she did was ILLEGAL. She could be sued for heaven's sake. And yet, I sit, perplexed and calm-ish (LOL) trying to establish a true outcome from such a horrible experience.

Do I want it all taken away, erase the slate? Yeah, that would be nice. However, it is, what it is. My lil woman is smart enough and has enough back up and support she will get thru it. Now, to give her back something that was taken from her at such a young age - "There are lots of good people out there.." Wow, if a fellow mother sucks as a human being THAT badly, how do I give my wee girl back some of the faith lost that day?

Plea bargain, for an apology, face to face, with me present, in a location of my choosing.. Could this be the win/win my heart keeps searching for?

And why do people think they can f@ck with me? Because I am genuine and kind? Nice people just carry on carrying on without making a ruckus? Pfft, bull effing sh!t. Caring strong loving capable moms make things happen - and you probably don't wanna get on their "bad" side. Cos, the law - is - the law.

Grrrr..

... *sucks it up*
And as a momma, I pick up the pieces, get out the ole glue stick called love and mend her heart, her feelings, her idea of what is and what isn't, back into one piece.

I share with her a good story about someone she loves. A true story that warms her again. This true account makes her see how it isn't always as it seems. That good hearts sometimes make mistakes. That a choice never needs to be regretted, but learned from. Despite factual information on a private system, she knows, she feels, she is apart of something most beautiful. That SHE IS BEAUTIFUL.
... *rolling down my eyes, cheeks, into my mouth and across my make up face.. tears, omg, so many tears* ...

My dear sweet beautiful baby girl, I love you so very much. I am sorry you have to go through this. I am apologizing for this unfortunate event. I hurt more than you will ever know ~ until one day when you become a mom. I would never want to take this occasion away from you, you have learned something valuable. A life lesson. And I know how hard it is, truly I do, my precious lil one. We have cried. We have forgiven. Let's move on, slowly, forward, together... I am here when you need me. I am around when you fall. My hugs are free. My love unconditional. My heart full :)

Wonder Grrr Woman xo

PS. I do not want comments on whether you agree or disagree with me and my thought choices. I am rambling and writing to figure it out - I DO NOT WANT HELP. It is my job. I am worthy. I am capable. I am willing and strong.
Your "feelings" or even logical conclusions based on facts and studies will "make me" delete you. Do NOT fluck with me.
You may, If you would please, hold my hand along this journey and I do thank YOU!

Passive inaction is a way towards taking some kind of action,
without the satisfaction of having acted :)

UPDATE: Waiting is a virtue; Christmas is upon us. And frankly I AM a better person than she, I will wait for this life lesson...

Wow, Am I Pissed Off!

Tempo Fitness ~ Canadian Tire,

Stephen Wetmore , (he looks pretty happy with life - guess he didn't buy a treadmill from Canadian Tire, then get the shaft from Tempo Fitness, lucky guy...)

G. Michael Arnett, Glenn Butt, Patrick R. Sinnott,

I want to return for a full refund, my hunk of junk treadmill purchased last Jan 2010 at Canadian Tire.
- I have my receipt and users guide as well as the "tools" and "lube" that it came with. The box the treadmill came in, was recycled.

I bought the 611T Tempo treadmill (btw: it's interesting how you can't get into the Canadian Tire Review Page to submit your actual true to life account of the piece of crap..) because there wasn't a huge selection of treadmills left after Christmas last year. BIG mistake.

Approximately 3 weeks into using it, a bearing blew out. Thankfully a machine shop is nearby helped fix the disaster. I continued using it - even with all the loud racket it seemed to produce from day one. Headphones became my running indoor treadmill reality. Hind sight, is such a kick in the bottom...

I hadn't used my treadmill again (due to decent nice weather) until recently. And guess what? IT SUCKS! After being on today for HALF of my workout, "the smell" happened, then, NOTHING - DEAD STOP, NO POWER, KILLED!

Yes, I am emotional and VERY pissed off right now. I apologize and am not attacking anyone directly, except for whomever built this piece of crap!!!!!

It's true, I got it on sale. It's true, I paid little for it, and it's equally true it's not worth a single dollar of what I paid for it.

Now let me get all "emotional and off on a tangent for you for a bit"This is irrelevant to you, but I need to say it, so here it goes...
(light listening elevator music insert here...)

I have a treadmill to help me deal with life. TRUE.

I am not on medication for my heart, depression, or any other mind/body challenges.

Not 10 years ago I was 320lbs.
I changed my life.

Exercise is a NEED for me.

I can hop onto a treadmill, and be taken to the land of endorphins ~ where only my mind and body and spirit exist ~ where it's just me, allowing thoughts, ideas, stress to come and go...
It is essential I have a treadmill, especially THIS MONTH OF DECEMBER - I can't run without slipping outside, as well as the minus 20 weather really isn't fun in the dark (between work and life)..

I have worked in retail and customer service. Which is why I am telling you EXACTLY what I need to solve my problematic challenge today.

QUESTION:
Do I return it to Canadian Tire East - Regina, SK - tomorrow for a full refund?
OR
Do I return it to Canadian Tire East - Regina, SK for a new unit, effective immediately?
OR
Do I sent it to you COD and YOU can issue me a NEW unit OR for a full refund?

This is what I NEED to happen.

I will forward this email to whomever I need to to get my point across.
I will not be taken advantage of, I will not stop until this has been resolved for me, and MY needs.

I await your reply, immediately.

Wonder Woman

I did send the email away with my "real" name and address :)
But just in case there is a perv out there reading this, I must protect the innocent ~ ME!
And my wonderful, not quite knowing how to stay out of my way today, loving family :)

NOTE:

Thank heavens for caring genuine friends and a loving trying to understand me family!

PS. Feel free to send this off to anyone who could make a difference and get me a freaking treadmill, SOON. And a new keyboard, I am pounding away...

And now I don't make sense, so I must go email away, until someone gets back to me...

THANK YOU FOR LISTENING :)

UPDATE: FULL REFUND!
Woohoo! Suzanne, you made my day - thank you :)

Victoria Day - Hooray!

It's been a while, life goes on as it needs to and I get shuffled through the life I have created. Which in whole, is pretty decent :) thankfully.

I logged in to try to delete my blog but keep my account active; pffft, apparently this is beyond my scope of hormone induced frazzled brain, it's a syndrome now: HIFBS. I shall refer to it as the latter from now on in.

Since my last posting what have I been up to? Hmmm, a hell of a lot. So posting is quite similar to cleaning - where the hell does one begin? Or shall I simply plunge away right where I can and hopefully something reminiscent of a post happens?

Sure, let us go with the flow...of mushroom soup from a can ;)

Did Vegas for my 40th birthday, hubby couldn't make it, just five ladies for 5 days - and I did the Learn To Strip class - too much fun! Vegas it so huge in such a small space. I was confused to how it's too much of everything. I loved the lights and shows and food and selection. I did not enjoy the vast amounts of people, and ages it took to get from point A to Point B. I also had too much on my agenda as this became obvious only the second day after arriving. I think I will "do" Vegas again, once more. Just to see if it's perhaps a bit less stressful once you know what you're in for BEFORE you arrive. I am certain THIS makes a whole lot of difference :)

Started at the Parks, hoping to work in the office this year and it looks like a few days out of the week this might just happen - yay!

Worked the Taboo show, so NOT my place. Weird huh? I guess in a crowd of "normal" people I tend to stand out. In a group of freaks, I submit into myself, attempting not to give up anything from myself; including sales and talking. Mind you I sure can roll my eyes and look completely disgusted all while being introverted. I come equipped with some phenomenal defence mechanisms. Yay @ surviving!

Still enjoying facebook - wordscrapper is too much fun!

Bought a bathing suit online - 3rd shot in the dark (I feel for you guys, really I do). First was last years bathing suit from hell - which I gave to someone about half my size and double my height so that the high leg openings didn't actually reach the breast area.. a hilarious and disgusting adventure that was! My second attempt was earlier this year, a 2 piece. The top cups didn't fit - fricking, no shit, seriously... My third trial was a brilliant success, it's beautiful and it fits nicely! Both my youngest daughter and husband gave their thumbs up! AWESOME! Then I spotted yet another fun beach addition (like this but in zebra black n white) and ordered it this week - cross your fingers for me, I wanna be lucky. I wanna get lucky! I AM LUCKY!

Kids are all still home. Samantha got a job for after graduation. She will be a dental hygienist - whoop! Damon is going to attend UofR and will be moving out again. *silent happy dance* Logan, not sure what or if he has any plans currently. Wee Danny, suddenly grew up with breasts and all (damn growing up thing kids do) will be doing her teenage role, as she is putting on a pretty convincing role of it already. Wowza, parenting the hardest "thing" I have done and by far the most rewarding.

Ran the Regina Police Run, and made decent time. I had trouble with my breathing which was a bit alarming but I trudged through the 22.5kms and didn't feel like death afterwards. SCORE! I, however did feel death came a knocking yesterday at the Echo Road Race, I couldn't breathe worth shit (wheezing and dizziness) and had a terrible run, horrendous time, and a shitty ass feel after the fact. I went home, bathed, cried, cried some more, ate something my husband was so kind to prepare (all white egg omelet - my favorite) and then cried a bit more. I spent the rest of my day trying to figure out the reason for my stupid breathing challenges. I have recently started taking over the counter allergy medication for the EVERYTHING I seem to have grown allergic too. But it isn't helping enough. I believe I may actually need a puffer, as it was recommended about 5 years ago to me, by a doctor. I thought I had it under control. However, sadly, not being able to breathe REALLY is a stupid scary feeling. I have another run in June and want to be back to "normal". NO more shit runs for me, I pray.

I have set goals for the summer to keep up my running. A "fun run" a month should just about do it :)

Reading, love it. Cozy and snuggled in my bed without puppies or people is my all time winner! I can not express what a rejuvenating experience I get from this very simple act in my life.

Date nights/ date days are equally my most fun times! Seamus and I have seen several movies lately. Two worthy of mentioning: Ironman2, which I liked a lot, and Date Night, a fun cute movie!

Four kids, 2 girlfriends, 4 dogs, 1 husband, jobs(Parks and my aesthetic shop), sports, activities..it's my life. A great life, it is :)

OVER AND OUT,

WW ;)

Life According To WW - Wow

I almost forgot my password to enter this adult erotic zone! Crazy. Life is a busy, fulfilling one, as per usual :)

People on facebook have been keeping tabs on me, and I have been gently stalking them back. Facebook truly is a wondrous tool!

Some facebook status and fun moments:

  • Wonder Woman took the "What were you in a past life?" quiz and the result is You owned a bordello.
  • ...I don't wanna make excuses, but I was born 2 weeks premature, and I do remember hearing something about oxygen deprivation...
  • is eating ice cream right from the tub...
  • admits to knowing fully about her sugar addiction - mmmm icing :)
  • one word: Commando!!!!!!!
  • one word: Chafing!
  • ...if Harlan Coben would just meet my ridiculously high standards of quality reading I wouldn't be such a mess, with 5 books on the go, none satisfying my appetite! Blah.
  • is thinking "Belly Dancing" sounds like a lot of fun with a side twist of fitness too! Who's in with me... Alice begins classes NEXT Sunday!
  • demands instant gratification, dangit!
  • wants to thank her husband for his quiet temperament when she is mental with hormones - I LOVE YOU SEAMUS!
  • chocolate donut, chocolate milk, 9pm = a supper fit for a goddess!

See everything is pretty much the same in the world according to Wonder Woman :)

Speaking of which, sex is fun huh? VERY satisfying. I will be working the Taboo Sex Show this year in Regina, selling marital aids ;) Now, seriously, could my existence be more fun? I thought not!

However, we all have goals, my goals for today include a run and a coffee date with a lovely friend. Yeah, that's it. My goals are being put on hold as I eat a creation I prepared this morning, and drink a coffee and listen to CSI in the background. Flashing lights and sparkles will also divert my attentions momentarily.

So about bikes, I haven't been on mine for a year. This summer I will ride my bike more :)

On the Brita water jug is a button to press, this button ensures you change your filter regularly. I have now pressed it thrice and I can't taste a difference in the water. I wonder how many times I CAN press it. Money making Enterprise!

Tomorrow is my last day at the ski hill. *contains enthusiasm heartily*

I depart for Vegas, after the Sex Show in late April - SO excited for that adventure!

And then the Parks job begins in May.

Ob-la-di, ob-la-da, life goes on, brah!... Lala how the life goes on...
WW...

PS. Looked in the mirror and realized I still have toothpaste on my blemishes from last night! Too funny...Life is just a bowl of cherries, eh!

In The Life Of A Goddess

It's Tuesday and my life rocks!

I bled, which really helps me become much more fun, happy and goofy. Back to normal!

I worked, I played, I loved.

Fitness classes have begun - I LOVE SWEATING!

I dated my hunky husband on Saturday - time with such a handsome, loving, strong man is always my pleasure :)

I went skiing - 3rd time. And I only screamed once ;-)

I had Goddess Day with one of my best friends last Monday - and then again yesterday with my bestest friend and momma. I also got a most garish and tacky pink purse - which I love!

Today, another great friend came over, we went for a run and then she set up my new evil torture devise - my treadmill. We tried it out, I almost fell off. She laughed. Bitch. *Giggles* Kidding, kinda ;-)

I currently have no hot water (pipe broke and was flooding the basement last night), I did a sponge bath thingy freezing my ample bottom, yet still I remain unfazed and happy. A little chilly, of course. But all smiles :-)

A warm cup o'java, homemade stew - stewing for supper, pups asleep, on the computer, relaxing...

Until 5:30, then I get to SWEAT again, with many fabulous women from around these parts!

Ah, this is MY life!

We Were There!

My Outline

I ventured out again this weekend - The Olympic Torch!
Pabsters, you should recognise Jillian and her hubby, Tim ;)
Yay!

Defrosted and ready for maybe, just quite possibly,
I will try skiing again this year.

My husband showed an enormous amount of patience with me last year,
I would be a fool not to try once more :)

Fitness classes begin this week - I'm ready to rock n roll!

(Neat poster eh?!!)

And even a spa date with a friend,

I have not seen in well over a year, is to happen Tuesday.

My highlight this month, definitely!

Working at Mission Ridge Winter Park,The Dee Spot,
Classes,being a goddess...

Wow, who could handle such fun?

PICK ME, PICK ME, PICK ME!

Yippeeeee,
WW!

Happy New Year!

Hmmm, what can I, do I, choose to work on this year? Ahhhhhh, a goal, per se to strive to achieve. Something that requires effort, without the dooming feel of disappointment if not achieved.

Last year I had the goal to answer the phone more, and go outside of my home when invited out by others into their homes, parties, functions.

I didn't fully succeed, however I didn't fully fall flat on my face either. I will continue to work on these points as well as adding the few others confided above.

Hell, when does this learning shit ever end?

Bahahahahaaaa,
WW ;)

AH HA!

PS. This year I will make an effort in:

I Need...

I need, I want. It's always about me. Me, me, me, me.

Know what I seriously need?

Medication.

Ativan for starters followed by some nice Valium.

Perhaps a shot of vodka for the chaser.

Some days, positive thought does fuck all for ya.

Positively fucked!

Less Sugar = Nicer Person

I performed the impossible, almost, yesterday. I chose, as my daily goal, to NOT partake in sugary goodness, just for the day. Heck, it couldn't kill me right?

After 1 hour and 45 minutes I broke my goal, accidental. Seriously, I had just taught a class, saw some fudge a class participant had given me during Monday evening's class, popped it into my mouth and sucked every bit of sweet nummy heaven from it. THEN I REMEMBERED MY GOAL! Oy, at that very moment, chuckled to myself, sucked it up (literally), and gave myself a do-over.

Technically my goal began at 10:15am, not at 8:30am as indicated by my facebook status. Erik, hush!

My day went smoother. I wasn't a rambling energized rabbit on roids. Rather, I was the fitness goddess I so enjoy being. My classes KICKED A$$ - fun, energy, stable moods (note the plural on the word "mood", it's not perfect being a hormonal riddled thirty something woman people!!!)...

Today, I tried this "goal" again. Hmmm, hormones, whether we want to admit it or not, play a huge roll in emotional stability through out a woman's day-cycle-life. I'm crazy. I need to bleed. And thankfully for me and my family, I did not sedate myself in sweetness (literally, once again). Everyone is alive. For now.

Going to segregate myself, read a book, and not get pissed off at something that would logically leave me befuddled to my emotional responses. F@ck, it's going to be a bumpy ride...

Prayers are welcome,

WW :)

How To Lose Weight

So, I have been asked during this holiday season,

"But how can I lose weight? I've tried EVERYTHING!"

Okay, first, why ask me? I'm a sugar addict for Christ's sake ...

Secondly, they so have not tried everything, they're still fat!

Thirdly, STOP EATING ALL THE DAMN TIME!

Fourth, maybe do something other than watch television or sit on the computer all evening long. MOVE YOUR ASS!

Stop making excuses ~ pity party HALTED, NOW!

What I really tell them is, "Eat less, exercise more."

:)

Man, pms is gonna be a good one this month..

Oy vey!

Why I Run...

In order as they cloud my brain:

I run to...

.. get away quickly!

.. keep from being 330lbs, again.

.. say,"I DID IT!"

.. dodge crazy car driving lunatics, after all my middles names are, Danger-Sparkle -Diva ;)

.. - cos I can :)

.. train my mind along with my body.

.. have something to bitch about, then smile about, knowing it IS a choice.

.. sweat!

.. listen to and rock out to fun music, "I like big butts and I can not lie...".

.. push me harder than I am willing to be pushed normally.

.. fit into clothing more comfortably.

.. looking decent at 39 years old ;)

.. succeed more often, fail less.

.. have a good old chinwag with me, myself and I for about an hour.

.. make the time for me - body, mind, and spirit.

.. reap all the glorious benefits.

.. be motivated by others, if needed (is needed a lot these days in the freezing weather) ;)

.. realize what a goddess can accomplish if she really sets her mind to it!

WOOOHOOOO,

WW :)

Random Thought Of The Day

  1. If you don't have much jingle down below in your jangle you damn well better use your tongue unlike anything humanly imaginable!
  2. Bigger is better in case he sucks in bed. He has to have something going for him. Even if it's purely a larger member with an equally larger brain.
  3. Okay, kidding aside: Size is truly relative. Be good at what you do - no complaints - especially size issues.

Trust me, I don't lie :)

Often.

I NEED to Be Out!

Needs verses wants.

I need to be outside running.

I want to be a sloth and do nothing.

I need to get my booty moving.

I want to keep warming the chair I currently vacate on this morning.

I need to get going with my day.

I want the world to stop briefly, allowing me time.

I need motivation.

I want a house where as it's just me and a comfy bed with cosy blankets. My husband is also invited ;)

I need to pity myself less.

I want to snuggle up and read a book; dreaming of another land.

I need to be reminded of all my blessings.

I want to remind myself of my everything wonderful around me.

Off to the races...

Buhbyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
