I've never tried anything like this before... Is white water rafting something that you have to practice, before you can do it, or is it something that anyone can safely do (at least be there, for the ride), his/her first time?
Wandered into here from (?)somewhere, saw the rafting pics, and checked the comments; so if I may answer aakash...
Most anyone can do whitewater rafting, as there are different classes of rapids based on water flow rates, technical difficulty, etc. Class I is the easiest, akin to a placid lake -- ideal for canoeing, even. Class II is a little swifter and has some ripples, yet is suitable for small children. Class III begins the intermediate rapids, but still within the capabilities of someone who has never gone before; minimum age restriction of 5 is typical here. Class IV starts into the more advanced whitewater, while Class V is the wildest that most commercial companies do, and is really for more experienced rafters.
There are also different types of trips, from a float-along where you are just going along for the ride and the guide handles the raft, to the interactive ride where you actively paddle. The latter is more fun, IMO, but the former can also go down some exciting water where all you have to do is hang on and enjoy the thrill.
