Okay, I'm stressed right the f*ck out today.
So, for a therapy session, less the 80 bucks, I have decided to make a list of what, whom I am grateful for not in order, well unless what pops into my head is now deemed "order" .. *wink* I didn't think so!
My morning partner in crime, she made me lighten up a bit... she laughed, I laughed. I left our time together regenerated with a different perspective. She doesn't judge me, rather she smiles, shakes her head and we laugh... Phew, thank goodness for friends like her!
My thoughts began after speaking to a friend over the phone this afternoon. As I hung up the receiver I realized I was smiling. Whereas, before our conversation I was close to tears.
Verging on tears is never as satisfying as an actual "good cry", which I'm incapable of, even being as I was born with a vagina. The flowing free juices from my eye sockets just isn't a much witnessed experience when they're my eyes in question.
Anyhoo, drum roll please....
- Friends, damn you can talk with them, laugh with them, work through sh!t with them, ask questions, listen, speak, rehearse, ...I like the laughter bestest!
- My family. They drive me nuts most of the time. I miss them when they're not around. I love them to bits! Hugs n kisses, back tickles, a touch, a look.. they keep ya going especially when you just want to STOP.
- Not having an eating disorder. LOL! I can NOT be anorexic. I've lost weight (less eating) in the past due to an overwhelming amount of stress. But hell, like that ever lasts long. Today, the spell has already been broken. And there isn't a worry that I will pass out from insufficient nutrition. Gawd.
- Willpower. I'm sitting, typing and munching on veggies...
- My basic needs being met. Food, shelter, etc.
- My right hand, with honourable mentions to a few of the fingers on this hand. When the going gets tough, masturbate. And then things look a bit brighter and, masturbate again. If you're someone like me, masturbate for a final farewell to stress... And then begin again. Obsessive qualities seem to peek during these overboard tense days, oh well.
- Spunk material via the net :) It's easy and fast!
- Scrabulous on facebook. Anything to keep me from 'over thinking' life as it appears to be lately.
- Warm, somewhat sunny weather!
- A MasterCard. For when life throws a curve ball your way..or five curve balls your way in less than 24 hours.
Oh yeah and HAPPY CANADA DAY folks!
UPDATE:Immediately following this post I ate half of a Dairy Queen ice cream log. Therefore number 4 is now labelled "moderate willpower" from herein out :)
