Speaking of which, sex is fun huh? VERY satisfying. I will be working the Taboo Sex Show this year in Regina, selling marital aids ;) Now, seriously, could my existence be more fun? I thought not!

However, we all have goals, my goals for today include a run and a coffee date with a lovely friend. Yeah, that's it. My goals are being put on hold as I eat a creation I prepared this morning, and drink a coffee and listen to CSI in the background. Flashing lights and sparkles will also divert my attentions momentarily.

So about bikes, I haven't been on mine for a year. This summer I will ride my bike more :)

On the Brita water jug is a button to press, this button ensures you change your filter regularly. I have now pressed it thrice and I can't taste a difference in the water. I wonder how many times I CAN press it. Money making Enterprise!

Tomorrow is my last day at the ski hill. *contains enthusiasm heartily*

I depart for Vegas, after the Sex Show in late April - SO excited for that adventure!

In The Life Of A Goddess

It's Tuesday and my life rocks!

I bled, which really helps me become much more fun, happy and goofy. Back to normal!

I worked, I played, I loved.

Fitness classes have begun - I LOVE SWEATING!

I dated my hunky husband on Saturday - time with such a handsome, loving, strong man is always my pleasure :)

I went skiing - 3rd time. And I only screamed once ;-)

I had Goddess Day with one of my best friends last Monday - and then again yesterday with my bestest friend and momma. I also got a most garish and tacky pink purse - which I love!

Today, another great friend came over, we went for a run and then she set up my new evil torture devise - my treadmill. We tried it out, I almost fell off. She laughed. Bitch. *Giggles* Kidding, kinda ;-)

I currently have no hot water (pipe broke and was flooding the basement last night), I did a sponge bath thingy freezing my ample bottom, yet still I remain unfazed and happy. A little chilly, of course. But all smiles :-)

A warm cup o'java, homemade stew - stewing for supper, pups asleep, on the computer, relaxing...

Until 5:30, then I get to SWEAT again, with many fabulous women from around these parts!

Hmmm, what can I, do I, choose to work on this year? Ahhhhhh, a goal, per se to strive to achieve. Something that requires effort, without the dooming feel of disappointment if not achieved.

Last year I had the goal to answer the phone more, and go outside of my home when invited out by others into their homes, parties, functions.

I didn't fully succeed, however I didn't fully fall flat on my face either. I will continue to work on these points as well as adding the few others confided above.

Hell, when does this learning shit ever end?

Less Sugar = Nicer Person

I performed the impossible, almost, yesterday. I chose, as my daily goal, to NOT partake in sugary goodness, just for the day. Heck, it couldn't kill me right?

After 1 hour and 45 minutes I broke my goal, accidental. Seriously, I had just taught a class, saw some fudge a class participant had given me during Monday evening's class, popped it into my mouth and sucked every bit of sweet nummy heaven from it. THEN I REMEMBERED MY GOAL! Oy, at that very moment, chuckled to myself, sucked it up (literally), and gave myself a do-over.

Technically my goal began at 10:15am, not at 8:30am as indicated by my facebook status. Erik, hush!

My day went smoother. I wasn't a rambling energized rabbit on roids. Rather, I was the fitness goddess I so enjoy being. My classes KICKED A$$ - fun, energy, stable moods (note the plural on the word "mood", it's not perfect being a hormonal riddled thirty something woman people!!!)...

Today, I tried this "goal" again. Hmmm, hormones, whether we want to admit it or not, play a huge roll in emotional stability through out a woman's day-cycle-life. I'm crazy. I need to bleed. And thankfully for me and my family, I did not sedate myself in sweetness (literally, once again). Everyone is alive. For now.

Going to segregate myself, read a book, and not get pissed off at something that would logically leave me befuddled to my emotional responses. F@ck, it's going to be a bumpy ride...

How To Lose Weight

So, I have been asked during this holiday season,

"But how can I lose weight? I've tried EVERYTHING!"

Okay, first, why ask me? I'm a sugar addict for Christ's sake ...

Secondly, they so have not tried everything, they're still fat!

Thirdly, STOP EATING ALL THE DAMN TIME!

Fourth, maybe do something other than watch television or sit on the computer all evening long. MOVE YOUR ASS!

Stop making excuses ~ pity party HALTED, NOW!

What I really tell them is, "Eat less, exercise more."

.. train my mind along with my body.

.. have something to bitch about, then smile about, knowing it IS a choice.

.. push me harder than I am willing to be pushed normally.

.. fit into clothing more comfortably.

.. looking decent at 39 years old ;)

.. succeed more often, fail less.

.. have a good old chinwag with me, myself and I for about an hour.

.. make the time for me - body, mind, and spirit.

.. reap all the glorious benefits.

.. be motivated by others, if needed (is needed a lot these days in the freezing weather) ;)

The Woman In The Yellow Jacket

I debated with another title, "The Chick In The Yellow Jacket". This seemed a bit juvenile, considering the "chick" is almost 40.

And so, "The Woman", she will be. She will remain nameless.

She is everything you see, and much, much more. I have grown very fond of her. Her honesty, integrity, her charisma, her compassion for others, her ability to make most people smile, her wacky way in which she presents herself.

She is intelligent, but not a braggart. She's insightful yet allowing others to make their own paths, mistakes, adventures. She is everything and nothing. She's modest. Believing in human morality. Giving anything, everything to that belief. Maybe even sometimes when it might be dangerous.

She's a survivor. A true warrior. A gentle soul. A woman, I have grown to admire, love, and respect.

She has made errors, many. She will admit to this. Yet, she, has no regrets. She believes in living. Moving forward. Learning.

I sure wish she could visit more often. I like who I am around her, who I transform into, who I become.

Hi-Dee-Ho!

Yowza, it's been a while, eh?

Not even snowed in, yet ;)

I've been a busy honey bee, lemme tell ya!

I have all four children back at home plus an extra (she was kicked out of her home and heck, why not?) as well as four large dogs (yes, four - three is town bylaw, but we refer to the fourth pup as a "constant visitor") and two parental figures (I am one of those, loooook out ;-) Oh, also the little extra woman child figure came with 2 bunnies and 2 chinchillas!

We live is a small bungalow, and I couldn't be happier, MOST days :) I believe we really need to create another bathroom tho. It's my only true annoyance. If ya wanna call it that. And, I can live without another bathroom. BUT, if my fairy godmother asked me, I'd ask for it!

My second jobs, have now come to an end, as they were seasonal.

I have applied to be an Education Assistant at the elementary school on top of keeping my esthetics's business open. People don't really care so much about pretty toes and waxing (furry winter Sasquatches) during our 9-10 months of winter in the Great White North ;)

Starting up fall fitness classes, again. This session Seamus my handsome honey, is going to tag team me in an hour & a half of pure "BLISS"! Some women are already commenting on facebook how "scared" they are. If it doesn't kill ya *evil twinkle in eye*...

Poor buggers, muahahahaha!!!

This week has been slow, relaxed and very quiet. How unusual and enjoyable! Getting kids off to school, others to work, making suppers, doing my running during work hours (waaaay less traffic from 9-11am), having a bath and not having to rush in the shower... I could get used to this luxury indeed-d-dee!

Real life, I can feel, is right around the corner, so I am going to take a few deep breathes and enjoy what I have while I have it.
